Pittsburgh, Nov. 20 – An informal group of La Paloma Generating Co., LLC’s second-lien creditors appealed the court order confirming the company’s Chapter 11 plan, according to a notice filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The creditor group said it is appealing the confirmation order to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, the plan was confirmed by the bankruptcy court on Nov. 6.

La Paloma is a 1,022 MW combined-cycle gas-fired power plant located in Kern, Calif. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 6, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12700.
