La Paloma Generating sees $1.51 million May operating loss; revenue up

Pittsburgh, June 29 – La Paloma Generating Co., LLC reported an operating loss of $1.51 million for May on $9.12 million in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Those figures showed improvement over the $8.17 million operating loss posted for April on $4.1 million in total revenue.

May’s net loss was $1.49 million, narrowing from an $8.16 million April net loss.

The company had no cash and cash equivalents as of May 31.

La Paloma is a 1,022 MW combined-cycle gas-fired power plant located in Kern, Calif. The company filed bankruptcy on Dec. 6, 2016 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12700.
