By Andrea Heisinger

Omaha, May 28 - Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank announced plans Wednesday to offer five-year notes, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The issue has not priced yet, a source said, adding that it is being handled off of a London desk.

Goldman Sachs & Co., RBC Capital Markets and RBS Greenwich Capital are bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to finance lending activities, including refinancing existing liabilities.

The financial institution for the German agriculture and food industry is based in Frankfurt.
