Lam Research to redeem 4% convertibles in June

New York, April 14 - Lam Research Corp. said it plans to redeem its outstanding 4% convertible subordinated notes in June 2004, two years ahead of their maturity.

The Fremont, Calif., supplier of chip-making equipment said the redemption will use $303 million in cash plus payment of accrued interest.
