Anadarko Petroleum to price senior notes due 2021, 2026 and 2046

Eureka Springs, Ark., March 14 – Anadarko Petroleum Corp. is marketing a three-tranche offering of senior notes due 2021, 2026 and 2046, according to a 424B3 filing on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Barclays, BofA Merrill Lynch and Mizuho Securities are the bookrunners. The co-managers are Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used to refinance the company’s 5.95% senior notes due in September 2016 and to refinance a portion of its 6.375% senior notes due in September 2017 and in the interim for general corporate purposes.

Anadarko Petroleum is a Woodlands, Texas-based independent oil exploration and production company.
