Amphenol plans to conduct offering of fixed-rate senior notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 4 – Amphenol Corp. intends to price fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes have a make-whole call and then a par call.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, MUFG, Commerzbank Capital Markets Corp., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for cash tender offers for the company’s $375 million of 3.125% senior notes due 2021 and its $500 million of 4% senior notes due 2022 and for general corporate purposes.

The designer, manufacturer and marketer of electric, electronic and fiber optic components is based in Wallingford, Conn.
