Amphenol to sell fixed-rate senior notes in two tranches

Knoxville, Tenn., March 29 – Amphenol Corp. plans to offer fixed-rate senior notes in two parts, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a make-whole call initially, then a par call.

Barclays, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and Mizuho Securities USA Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay all $375 million of outstanding 1.55% notes due 2017 and for general corporate purposes.

The designer, manufacturer and marketer of electric, electronic and fiber optic components is based in Wallingford, Conn.
