Moody's assigns AMP Bank notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a local-currency senior unsecured debt rating of Baa2 to AMP Bank Ltd.’s Australian dollar-denominated floating-rate senior unsecured debt issuance.

The notes are being issued under AMP Bank's A$5 billion debt issuance program.

“The Baa2 senior unsecured debt rating is in line with AMP Bank's baa2 baseline credit assessment (BCA) and adjusted BCA,” Moody’s said in a press release.

The outlook is negative.
