Moody's raises Kennedy Krieger, Md., revenue bonds to Aa2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the long term rating to Aa2 from Aa3 on Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority's $51.5 million of revenue bonds (Kennedy Krieger Issue), series 2006.

At the same time, Moody's assigned the bonds a short-term rating of VMIG 1.

The short-term rating is based on an irrevocable direct-pay letter of credit to be provided by SunTrust Bank. The bank is rated Aa2 for its long-term obligations and Prime-1 for its short-term obligations. The bank's outlook is negative.
