AmMerchant Bank calls RM 200 million CDs

Seattle, Jan. 27 - AmMerchant Bank Bhd. said it will call its RM 200 million unsecured subordinated certificates of deposit on March 1.

The bank will pay par plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

Holders of the CDs must complete a Form Y and return it to the depository, RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Bhd. (03 9280 5403/5435), by Feb. 21.

AmMerchant Bank is a Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based financial institution.
