New Issue: Amkor Technology $425 million 10-year notes yield 7¾%

St. Louis, May 1 - Amkor Technology, Inc. priced $425 million of senior notes due May 15, 2013 (B1/B) at par Thursday to yield 7¾%, according to a syndicate source.

Price talk was for a yield of 7¾%-8%.

Citigroup was the bookrunner. JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. were co-managers.

Proceeds from the Rule 144A/Regulation S deal will be used to redeem the West Chester, Pa. firm's 9¼% notes due 2006.
