Amkor Technology calls $200 million of 6 5/8% senior notes due 2021

Columbus, Ohio, June 19 – Amkor Technology, Inc. plans to redeem $200 million of its $400 million of outstanding 6 5/8% senior notes due 2021, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed at 101.656 plus accrued interest to, but excluding, the redemption date of July 19.

Amkor plans to fund the redemption with cash on hand. It expects the redemption to result in interest savings of $13.3 million a year.

U.S. Bank NA is the trustee.

The semiconductor company is based in Chandler, Ariz.
