Amkor Technology pricing $200 million tap of 6 3/8% notes Wednesday

Portland, Ore., May 15 - Amkor Technology, Inc. plans to price a $200 million add-on to its 6 3/8% senior notes due Oct. 1, 2022 (existing ratings Ba3/BB) on Wednesday, according to a market source.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC are the joint bookrunners.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S notes become callable on Oct. 1, 2016 at 104.781.

The Chandler, Ariz.-based semiconductor company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, capital additions, acquisitions and other investments.

The original $300 million issue priced at par on Sept. 18, 2012.
