Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 18 - Amkor Technology Inc. plans to price $300 million of senior notes due 2022 (Ba3/BB), according to a market source.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and UBS Securities LLC are the joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The notes will be non-callable for four years.

Proceeds will be used to repay $224.9 million of debt of certain of its subsidiaries, and any remaining net proceeds would be used for general corporate purposes.

Amkor is a Chandler, Ariz.-based provider of outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services.
