Amkor Technology issues call for all remaining 9¼% notes due 2016

San Diego, May 25 - Amkor Technology, Inc. has issued a call to fully redeem its outstanding 9¼% senior notes due 2016, according to a press release.

The call for redemption applies to any notes that are not submitted in the company's current tender offer for the notes, which expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on June 14. At the start of the tender offer, the amount of notes outstanding was $264,283,000.

The company will pay $1,050 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes tendered by the early tender deadline, 5 p.m. ET on May 31, and $1,040 for each $1,000 principal amount of notes tendered after the early deadline but before the June 14 expiration date.

Any notes remaining after the tender offer will be redeemed on June 24 at a redemption price of $1,046.25 per $1,000 principal amount of notes plus accrued interest.

The paying agent for the redemption is U.S. Bank NA (800 934-6802).
