Amkor redeems $3 million 7¾% senior notes, $10 million 9¼% notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 3 - Amkor Technology, Inc. announced it has redeemed $3 million of its 7¾% senior notes due May 2013 and $10 million of its 9¼% senior notes due June 2016.

The notes were redeemed Monday for $13.2 million, which included $400,000 in interest.

Amkor Technology is a Chandler, Ariz.-based provider of semiconductor assembly and test services.
