Amgen intends to sell 10-year fixed-rate notes via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 31 – Amgen Inc. will sell dollar-denominated senior notes (Baa1) due 2027, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes feature a make-whole call until three months prior to maturity and then a par call.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and BNP Paribas Securities Corp. are the joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Amgen is a Thousand Oaks, Calif., manufacturer and marketer of human therapeutics based upon advances in cellular and molecular biology.
