JPMorgan plans dual direction contingent buffer notes on MSCI EM fund

Chicago, Jan. 18 – JPMorgan Chase Financial Co. LLC plans to price 0% dual directional contingent buffered equity notes due Jan. 31, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
If the fund finishes at or above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the gain.
If the fund finishes below its initial level but never closes down by more than the 23.5% contingent buffer, the payout at maturity will be par plus the absolute value of the return.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline.

The notes will price on Jan. 26.
The Cusip number is 48129HQ26.
