JPMorgan plans contingent buffered return enhanced notes on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets fund

New York, Dec. 21 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% contingent buffered return enhanced notes due June 28, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets fund, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final price is greater than the initial price, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the gain, capped at 20.1%.

Investors will receive par for losses up to 30% and will share fully in losses if the fund declines beyond the buffer.

The notes (Cusip: 48124A6B8) are expected to price on Dec. 23 and settle on Dec. 29.
