New Issue: JPMorgan prices $2.54 million buffered return enhanced notes linked to S&P 500

Tacoma, Wash., July 29 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $2.54 million of 0% buffered return enhanced notes due July 30, 2013 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 94%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 20% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.
