Ameriprise Financial offers new notes due 2022 via four bookrunners

Tupelo, Miss., March 12 – Ameriprise Financial, Inc. is marketing new dollar-denominated senior notes due 2022, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including repayment or redemption of the company’s $300 million outstanding of 7.3% notes due June 28, 2019.

Ameriprise Financial is a financial services company based in Minneapolis.
