New York, June 3 - Ameriprise Financial Inc. priced $300 million 7.3% 10-year senior notes Wednesday to yield Treasuries plus 375 basis points, a market source said.
The notes (A3/A/A-) priced at 99.971 to yield 7.303% with a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 50 bps.
Bookrunners were J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and UBS Investment Bank.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including prefunding of senior notes due 2010.
The financial planning company is based in Minneapolis.
