Moody's affirms Ameriprise

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Ameriprise Financial, Inc.'s A3 senior debt rating.

The outlook remains negative.

The affirmation is based primarily on the company's excellent capitalization - despite challenging credit and equity markets - and the company's solid financial flexibility, according to the agency.
