New Issue: Ameriprise Financial prices $500 million 4.5% senior notes due 2032 at 153 bps spread

Los Angeles, May 10 – Ameriprise Financial Inc. priced $500 million of 4.5% 10-year senior notes (expected: A3/A-/A-/A.M. Best: a-) on Tuesday, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes priced at 99.976 to yield 4.503%, or a spread of 153 basis points over Treasuries.
The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.
BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are the joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, according to a prior 424B5 filing with the SEC.
The diversified financial services company is based in Minneapolis.
