AmeriGas Partners $400 million 10-year notes talked 7% area, to price Wednesday

St. Louis, April 12 - AmeriGas Partners LP/Finance Corp. plans to price a quick-to-market $400 million offering of 10-year senior notes (B2) on Wednesday afternoon, according to market sources.

Price talk is in the 7% area.

Credit Suisse First Boston has the books for the Rule 144A/Regulation S offering. Citigroup and Wachovia Securities are co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to fund a tender offer for the company's $388 million of outstanding 8 7/8% series B senior notes due 2011.

AmeriGas is the largest retail propane distributor in the United States, with headquarters in Valley Forge, Pa.
