AmeriCredit starts roadshow Friday for $300 million seven-year offering

St. Louis, Mo., June 6 - AmeriCredit Corp. will start the roadshow for $300 million of senior notes due 2009 (Ba1/BB-) on Friday, according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price midweek during the week of June 10.

Bear Stearns & Co. and JP Morgan are joint bookrunners. Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and RBC are co-managers.

The Rule 144A notes are non-callable for four years.

The Fort Worth, Texas middle-market auto finance company will use proceeds to fund a tender offer for its $175 million outstanding 9¼% senior notes due 2004.
