JED Oil gets fifth extension of 10% convertibles' redemption date

Knoxville, Tenn., March 25 - JED Oil Inc. said it has extended the redemption date of its $40.24 million in 10% senior subordinated convertible notes to March 25 from March 24.

The purpose of the latest extension is to finalize terms with the noteholders for a longer extension for the completion of financing and repayment of the notes, according to a company news release.

This is the notes' fifth extension; the redemption date originally was slated for Feb. 15.

JED Oil is an oil and natural gas company based in Didsbury, Alta.
