Americas Mining repays $97.25 million owed on credit facilities

Pittsburgh, May 16 - Grupo Mexico SA de CV subsidiary Americas Mining Corp. fully paid off the $75 million due on its credit facility with Banco Inbursa, $15 million on its credit facility with Banco Calyon and $7.25 million on its credit facility with Banco Ixe, according to a company news release.

Grupo Mexico said the prepayments will give it a more solid debt structure that will allow it to continue its operations and benefits its creditors and employees.

Americas Mining is a copper mining subsidiary of Grupo Mexico.
