Aberdeen Emerging Markets Fund reorganization scheduled for May 18

Minneapolis, March 16 - Aberdeen Funds announced that the reorganization of the Aberdeen Emerging Markets Fund is scheduled to occur on May 18, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As previously reported, the board approved the reorganization of the fund into the Aberdeen Emerging Markets Institutional Fund.

The fund's adviser is Philadelphia-based Aberdeen Asset Management Inc.
