Iusacell misses more payments

New York, June 18 - Grupo Iusacell SA de CV said it missed two more debt payments.

The company's Iusacell Infraestructura SA de CV missed a $3.7 million principal amortization payment due June 15 on financing for microwave transmission equipment with BNP Paribas.

Iusacell also missed a $1 million principal amortization and interest payment due June 15 on a credit line with Harris SA de CV used to finance construction of microwave transmission equipment.

Among previous missed payments, Iusacell earlier in June failed to make a $33.2 million principal amortization payment on Grupo Iusacell Celular SA de CV's $266 million amended and restated credit agreement.

Grupo Iusacell is a Mexico City-based wireless communications provider.
