Iusacell obtains extension on credit agreement waiver

New York, July 10 - Grupo Iusacell SA de CV said its subsidiary Grupo Iusacell Celular Sa de CV obtained a further extension of its temporary waiver of technical defaults and some provisions under its $266 million credit agreement.

The amendment will now expire on August 14 after being extended from June 26 and before that from June 13 and its original expiration date of May 22.

The extension provides the company with additional time to work toward a restructuring plan, Iusacell said.

Grupo Iusacell Celular is a wireless company based in Mexico City.
