Moody's puts Itochu on upgrade review

Moody's Investors Service put Itochu Corp. on upgrade review including its unsecured senior debt at Ba3, Itochu Finance (Europe) plc's unsecured senior debt at B1 and Itochu International, Inc.'s unsecured senior debt at B1.

Moody's said the action reflects Itochu's consistently generated quarterly results for the past few years, increasing confidence in its performance management and the strength of the bank liquidity support system for Japanese trading companies in general.
