Moody's downgrades Italy

Moody's Investors Service said it downgraded Italy's government bond rating to Baa2 from A3.

The outlook remains negative.

Italy's Prime-2 short-term rating has not changed.

Moody's said that one of the key drivers underlying the two-notch downgrade of Italy's government bond rating is Italy's increased susceptibility to event risk.
