Moody's gives B2 to Istanbul bond

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a provisional senior unsecured debt rating of (P)B2 to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's planned $305 million bond issuance.

The rating is derived from the B2 long-term issuer rating and negative outlook of the issuer, the agency said.

The municipality will use the proceeds for metro line infrastructure projects.
