Israel Electric plans shelf offering of debentures due 2024, 2031

New York, Nov. 7 – Israel Electric Corp. Ltd. is planning a shekel-denominated offering of debentures due March 20, 2024 and Sept. 20, 2031, according to a filing with the Singapore Stock Exchange.

The debentures will be offered in two series from the company’s shelf prospectus.

The 2024 debentures will have a bullet maturity and carry a fixed interest rate while the 2031 debt will amortize starting in 2029 and pay interest at a rate linked to the consumer price index.

Orders for the securities will be accepted on Nov. 12.

Israel Electric is a Haifa, Israel-based publicly controlled utility.
