Israel Chemicals preps public offering of debenture series in Israel

Chicago, March 16 – Israel Chemicals Ltd. plans a public offering of a new series of debentures in Israel, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for refinancing outstanding debt and for the company’s ongoing operation.

The details of the offering, including timing, terms and amount, have not been set, and the issue is subject to approval by the company’s board of directors as well as regulatory approval, publication of a shelf prospectus and a supplemental shelf offering report.

The company said that it could not assure that the shelf prospectus would be approved or that the offering will take place.

The issuer is a fertilizer and specialty chemicals company based in Tel Aviv.
