Israel files $2.63 billion shelf registration for bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 10 - State of Israel filed a $2.63 billion shelf registration for bonds in a Schedule B prospectus filing Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used for the general purposes of Israel.
