iShares Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETFs update names

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 17 - iShares Trust updated the names of four of its investment-grade exchange-traded funds, according to separate 497K filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The iShares 2016 Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF, iShares 2018 Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF, iShares 2020 Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF and iShares 2023 Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF are doing business as iSharesBond 2016 Corporate ex-Financials Term ETF, iSharesBond 2018 Corporate ex-Financials Term ETF, iSharesBond 2020 Corporate ex-Financials Term ETF and iSharesBond 2023 Corporate ex-Financials Term ETF, respectively.

As previously reported, each fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of a Barclays Maturity High Quality Corporate index whose components mature in the last year of the fund. The benchmark indexes are comprised of dollar-denominated, taxable, investment-grade bonds and contain no financial issuers.

The 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2023 ETFs will mature on or about March 31, 2016, March 31, 2018, March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2023, respectively, at which time each fund's assets will be distributed to investors.

The New York Stock Exchange Arca ticker symbols are "IBCB" for the 2016 fund, "IBCC" for the 2018 fund, "IBCD" for the 2020 fund and "IBCE" for the 2023 fund.

James Mauro and Scott Radell are the portfolio managers for all four funds.

San Francisco-based BlackRock Fund Advisors serves as the funds' investment adviser.
