S&P lowers Iroquois Gas view to negative

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the A- ratings on Iroquois Gas Transmission System LP and revised the outlook to negative from stable.

Secular changes in the natural gas pipeline industry viewed as longer term in nature are contributing to Iroquois' slightly weaker competitive position, S&P said.

This dynamic, coupled with the asset's smaller size and limited geographic diversity compared with peers in the A category, led to the outlook revision, the agency said.
