Ireland raises $2.76 million through private placement of equity units

Company sells units of one share, a half-share warrant at $0.55 each

Knoxville, Tenn., June 9 - Ireland, Inc. settled a $2.76 million private placement of units on June 8, according to an 8-K filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 5,018,199 units of one common share and a half-share warrant at $0.55 per unit in three tranches.

The whole warrants are each exercisable at $0.80 until June 30, 2014. The strike price reflects a 40.35% premium to the June 7 closing share price of $0.57.

Located in Blaine, Wash., Ireland is a silver and gold exploration company.
