New Issue: Ireland concludes $2.99 million private placement of common-share units

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 14 - Ireland, Inc. settled a $2.99 million private placement of units on Friday, according to an 8-K filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company sold 6,645,000 units of one common share and one half-share warrant at $0.45 per unit.
Each warrant is exercisable at $0.75 per share until June 30, 2012.
Located in Blaine, Wash., Ireland is a mineral exploration company.
