American Shipping to make Feb. 28 interest payment on bonds in kind

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Nov. 15 - American Shipping Co. ASA, formerly Aker American Shipping ASA, has decided to make the Feb. 28 interest payment for its senior callable PIK bonds as payment-in-kind, according to a notice from trustee Norsk Tillitsmann ASA.

The issuer is a shipping company based in Oslo.
