S&P rates Douglas County, Neb., hospital bonds A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- long-term rating to the Hospital Authorities No. 2 and No. 3 of Douglas County, Neb.'s $210 million of 2008 series A and B revenue bonds issued on behalf of Nebraska Methodist Health System.

The issue includes $50 million series 2008A and $160 million of series 2008B.

In addition, S&P said it affirmed the A- underlying rating on Nebraska Investment Finance Authority's bonds and Iowa Finance Authority's bonds issued for the system.

The outlook is stable.
