ION Media hearing on enforcement of DIP order adjourned to Oct. 28

By Alice Popovici

New York, Oct. 15 - ION Media Network, Inc.'s hearing on enforcement of its debtor-in-possession financing was adjourned to Oct. 28 for scheduling reasons, according to an attorney familiar with the case.

The hearing was the only ION matter scheduled before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York on Oct. 15, and was rescheduled for a day with more items on the calendar, according to the attorney.

As previously reported, ION's informal first-lien lender group asked the court to enforce its final order approving the company's DIP financing after a lawsuit was filed by second-lien debtholder Cyrus Select Opportunities Master Fund, Ltd.

ION is a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based television broadcaster. The company filed for bankruptcy on May 19. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-13125.
