Inyx USA trustee asks for court approval to auction Bespak facility equipment

By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., June 6 - Inyx USA, Ltd.'s Chapter 11 trustee requested court approval to auction equipment located at the company's Bespak Europe Ltd. facility in Milton Keynes, England, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

According to the filing, Bespak is closing the facility and has asked Inyx to remove the equipment. Inyx no longer needs the equipment and is looking to avoid the costs of shipping or storing the equipment.

Chapter 11 trustee Stephen S. Gray said in the filing that the sale would further maximize the value and proceeds of the debtor's assets.

The auction is scheduled for June 9 and will be held by Bespak.

Inyx USA is a subsidiary of New York-based pharmaceutical company Inyx, Inc. Inyx USA filed for bankruptcy on July 2, 2007, and its Chapter 11 case number is 07-10888.
