Mehlman, Roth to manage Morgan Stanley's Investment Grade portfolio

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Nov. 29 - The board of trustees of Morgan Stanley Institutional Fund Trust said the portfolio management for the Investment Grade Fixed Income Portfolio will change in connection with modifications the board previously approved on Sept. 27-28 with respect to the trust's name, investment policy and investment strategies.

According to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Joseph Mehlman and Christian G. Roth, members of the taxable fixed-income team, will begin managing the portfolio, effective Dec. 20.

W. David Armstrong and David S. Horowitz are no longer managing the portfolio.

New York-based Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc. is the investment adviser for the portfolio, which will change names to Corporate Bond Portfolio on Dec. 20.
