Brazil’s Invepar postpones benchmark offering of dollar notes

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, Nov. 2 – Investimentos e Participacoes em Infraestrutura SA (Invepar) has postponed a planned U.S. dollar-denominated benchmark offering of intermediate notes, a syndicate source said on Friday.

It’s been put on hold amid difficult market conditions, the source said.

Citigroup, Santander, BB Securities, Bradesco BBI and BTG Pactual were joint bookrunning managers of the proposed Rule 144A and Regulation S notes. Roadshow meetings in the United States and Europe regarding the deal had wrapped up on Oct. 24.

The notes were to be issued by Invepar and guaranteed by Concessai Metroviaria do Rio de Janeiro SA and Linha Amerela SA.

Invepar is a Rio de Janeiro-based transport infrastructure concessions company.
