Aim/Invesco Sector Funds to reorganize two funds

San Diego, Dec. 2 - The board of Aim Sector Funds (Invesco Sector Funds) has approved the realignment of two funds, according to an N-14 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A meeting of the shareholders of record as of Jan. 4 of the Invesco U.S. Mid Cap Value Fund will be held on April 2 to approve the reorganization of the fund into the Invesco Van Kampen American Value Fund.

In addition, a meeting of shareholders of the Invesco Capital Development Fund will be held on April 2 to approve the reorganization of the fund into the Invesco Van Kampen Mid Cap Growth Fund.

Atlanta-based Invesco Advisers will serve as primary investment adviser for each fund.
