Inversora Electrica de Buenos Aires accepts exchange offers for $208.44 million series A, series B notes

Pittsburgh, Dec. 17 - Inversora Electrica de Buenos Aires SA accepted offers to exchange $92.07 million of its series A 8.65% notes due 2002 and $116.37 million of its series B 9% notes due 2004, according to a company news release.

As a result, the company will be exchanging 92% of the series A notes and 90% of the series B notes.

The notes are being exchanged under the company's acuerdo preventivo extrajudicial.

Inversora is a Buenos Aires-based utilities company.
