Intesa Sanpaolo calls €741.85 million 8.375% fixed/floating perpetuals

Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 12 – Intesa Sanpaolo SpA exercised the call option on the €741.85 million outstanding of its original €1.5 billion of 8.375% fixed/floating-rate perpetual subordinated notes issued on Oct. 14, 2009, according to a notice.

The notes will be redeemed in full at par plus accrued interest on Oct. 14.

The financial services company is based in Turin, Italy.
